A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated redevelopments to the rear of 3-5 Bridge Street, Horncastle. The groundworks did not extend beyond layers of 20th century made ground, and no archaeologically significant features, deposits, or finds were encountered. Part of the scheduled Roman wall remains of Horncastle crosses the rear of the property, but was not affected by the work. {1}{2}
