A magnetometry survey was undertaken on land to the north of Witham Road, Woodhall Spa, to inform a proposed residential development. Anomalies corresponding to two connecting field boundaries and a former pond depicted on historic mapping were noted, as was a series of isolated anomalies representing a former fenceline. Another area of positive disturbance may reflect the presence of archaeology, but given its isolated position it was thought more likely to be geological in origin. Probable drainage ditches were also noted across the site. {1}
