Description
A magnetometry survey was conducted to inform proposed residential development on land north of Orby Road, Burgh le Marsh. Magnetic disturbance caused by modern services and activity was recorded across much of the site, but no archaeological features of interest were identified. {1}
Subsequent archaeological evaluation (see ELI13975) revealed a single ditch of Roman date and a pit containing Medieval pottery, neither of which were identified by the magnetometry survey.
