A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of new residential dwellings on land adjacent to 6 Orchard Close, Saracens Head. The remains of two modern refuse pits were noted, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
