Trial trenching carried out on land at Hall Farm, Raithby. A series of linear features, interpreted as boundaries and enclosure features, were recorded. Environmental evidence suggests crop growing and consumption in the area, therefore the enclosures are assumed to be agricultural in nature. The site was difficult to chronologically phase due to disturbance from archaeological features being recut and from later agricultural activity. There is, however, evidence of acitivty during the Roman and Medieval periods. {1}{2}
