A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of new residential dwellings on land off High Street and Swinderby Road, Eagle. The remains of a modern refuse pit and a likely late post-medieval field boundary ditch were identified, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
