A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new cattle shed on land off Seagate Road, Long Sutton. Most of the groundworks were relatively shallow, and did not extend beyond extensive layers of subsoil on the site. No archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
