A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling and garage on land adjacent to Anfield, Chapel Road, Leake Commonside. The remains of an infilled field dyke of late post-medieval date was identified, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
