A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for residential development on land at 1 Spring Bank, Brigg Road, Caistor. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. The groundworks in the western half of the site did not extend beyond the subsoil layer, however, and archaeological features may still be present below the excavated level. {1}{2}
