A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for new residential development, on land at 65 Nettleham Road, Lincoln. Some pre-existing footings of an earlier extension to the property were uncovered and reused for the project. The remains of a 19th century refuse pit was uncovered, but no features or artefacts of archaeological significance were found. {1}{2}
