A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new storage facility on land off Stone Pit Lane, Keelby. The remains of a likely 20th century animal burial pit was noted, along with natural tree rooting features, but no significant archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
