A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the demolition of the former College of Central Technology and Sports buildings, and subsequent construction of the new Priory Ruskin Academy, off Rushcliffe Road, Grantham. The groundworks were relatively shallow and did not extend beyond layers of modern made-ground and disturbance on the site. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were therefore encountered. {1}{2}
