Description
Ten trial trenches were excavated to inform proposed horticultural development on land at Black House Farm, Pode Hole, Spalding. The trenches were targeted to investigate magnetic anomalies identified by a previously conducted geophysical survey. All of the anomalies were found to be of modern or natural origin, and no archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
