A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for a new dwelling to the rear of 56 High Street, Holbeach. The foundations of 19th century terraced housing was observed beneath layers of modern made ground, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
