A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for new residentidial development on land at Churchill Avenue/Harrow Close, Skegness. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered, although the groundworks were not deep enough to extend beyond alluvial layers present on the site, and it is probable that earlier archaeological deposits were not reached. {1}{2}
