A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for the construction of a new agricultural building at Willowdene, Church Lane, Conisholme. Despite being close to the core of the village, no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered, although it is possible that early remains may survive beneath the natural deposits exposed during this work. {1}{2}
