Description

TF 4222-4322 12/37 LONG SUTTON MARKET PLACE (east side) Former Lenton's Butcher's Shop (No 1) and No.3 (Formermly listed as Lenton's Butcher's Shop and No.3) G.V. II Shop and house. Early C19 with late C19 shop, C20. Rendered brick. C20 slate roof. Right rendered and left C20 red brick gable stacks. Rendered coped gables. Two and a half storeys, four bays. C19 shop front with part glazed door, overlight and panelled reveal to the right and projecting is the large shop window with single large sash to the front, casements over and single narrow sashes in the sides. Entablature extending over the doorway. To the right is a doorway with part glazed and panelled door, plain doorcase. Further right are two plain sashes. Above are four glazing bar sashes. Four similar smaller sashes above. All openings apart from those of the shop under segmental arches with painted wedge lintels. Listing NGR: TF4319822976
