Description

CORNMARKET 1. 1348 (North Side) The Masons Arms Hotel TF 38 NW 1/120 II GV 2. Mid C19 features to front elevation, but gable in yard to rear indicates slightly earlier origin. 3 storeys, rendered. Pantile roof. Bracketed eaves. Rusticated quoins. 4 windows, hung sashes, C19 glazing, On 1st floor, 2 canted bays, panelled base, one over a columned porch to left, one over ground floor bay. 2 French windows on 1st floor, iron balustrade. One window on ground floor and elliptical carriage entrance to right, carved lintel. 2 brick stacks at gable ends. Nos 1 to 13A (odd), the Masons Arms Hotel, and The Corn Market form a group.
